Japanese power companies join winning consortium for Norway's first offshore wind farm. Ventyr, a consortium of Parkwind and Ingka Investments, secured the winning bid for the development of the Sørlige Nordsjø II phase 1 area in the Southern Norwegian North Sea. This 1.5GW wind farm will generate electricity, playing a crucial role in advancing Norway's renewable energy transition and aligning with their goal of awarding 30GW of offshore wind power by 2040.
