Honda Cars India exports its India-made Elevate SUV as the WR-V to Japan for the first time.
Honda Cars India has launched its India-made Elevate SUV in Japan as the WR-V, marking the first time a model has been exported from India to Japan. The Elevate, which made its global debut in India in September 2021, has already sold over 30,000 units in the past six months. Honda Cars India has been exporting models from its lineup to various markets, including left-hand drive markets in Turkey, Mexico, and the Middle East, and right-hand drive markets in Nepal, Bhutan, South Africa, and SADC countries.
