1,000 drivers passed through an NDHP sobriety checkpoint on Interstate 29's southbound Exit 60 at 52nd Avenue South in Fargo. Of these, 13 drivers were screened for impairment, resulting in 2 DUI arrests and 4 drug-related citations. The checkpoint was a joint effort with the Cass County Sheriff’s Department and also led to 4 DUI arrests, 1 DUI refusal arrest, and 3 driving under suspension arrests during saturation patrols.
