The DMK party in Tamil Nadu has filed a complaint with India's Election Commission, accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of violating the Model Code of Conduct by insulting Hinduism during a campaign speech for the INDIA bloc. DMK's Organisation Secretary R S Bharathi has requested the Election Commission to take appropriate action against Modi, stating that his comments are a gross violation of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, and the Model Code of Conduct.
