The Portland Timbers have signed Uruguayan forward Jonathan Rodriguez from Club América for a designated player contract. The 30-year-old has scored 108 goals and registered 27 assists in 277 matches over eight seasons in Mexico's top flight. Rodriguez will join the Timbers on a contract through 2026, with an option for 2027, pending a physical, an International Transfer Certificate, and a P-1 visa.
