21-year-old Tanner Welsh was sentenced to nine years in federal prison for distributing fentanyl that caused the overdose death of a 17-year-old Portland teenager. Portland Police Bureau found several small blue counterfeit Oxycodone pills containing fentanyl next to the teenager's body. Welsh admitted to selling fentanyl and Xanax to the teen, and a federal grand jury indicted him in February.
