Property tycoon Myck Djurberg, 64, was convicted of fraudulently selling £3.5m houseboats on the Thames without appropriate planning permission. Djurberg, who owns a grade II listed home, built the boats with the intent of developing a leisure marina resort but failed to acquire residential mooring licenses for the buyers. He has been convicted at Kingston Crown Court and is awaiting sentencing.
