39-year-old Filipino man lied about his sexual activity during a Health Sciences Authority blood donation drive in Singapore. His blood test later returned positive for HIV. On March 21, he pleaded guilty to one charge of providing false information in relation to donating blood under the Infectious Diseases Act and was sentenced to three months' jail. The man had previously donated blood 10 times before.
