27-year-old doctor, Nicholas Chu, is due to be sentenced in April for allegedly recording intimate images without consent while working at Orange Health Service between January 2022 and February 2023. Chu faces 13 counts of intentionally recording intimate images without consent and two counts of producing child abuse material. He is currently on bail and suspended by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, preventing him from practicing medicine in Australia.
