West High School in Salt Lake City opened a first-of-its-kind clinic, collaborating with the University of Utah Health, Salt Lake City School District, and Salt Lake Education Foundation. The clinic, serving students with parent consent, offers preventative care, vaccinations, mental health support, and general health care. With 100 students already served, the school aims to curb absences due to illness, injury, or mental illness.
