The US Export-Import Bank is offering a $600 million loan to Australian Strategic Materials (ASM) for the development of its rare earths project in New South Wales, as part of efforts to expand critical minerals supply chains outside of China. The project will use these minerals in electric vehicles, wind turbines, and everyday electronics.
