U.S. Department of Interior invests $4.4 million in War Eagle Creek restoration in Northwest Arkansas. The funds will be used to replace low-water crossings with bridges, restore the stream, and support tree replanting and other restoration work. The War Eagle Creek Collaborative Restoration Initiative, consisting of 15 organizations, aims to improve waterway safety, provide cleaner water, and enhance recreational opportunities.
