80% of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders in the US think abortion should be legal, according to an AP-NORC poll conducted by AAPI Data and The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. Support for legal abortion is found to be high even in situations where the pregnant person wants an abortion for any reason. The poll also reveals that 75% of AAPI adults believe Congress should pass a law guaranteeing access to legal abortions nationwide.
