The UK government pledged £6m to support climate-smart agriculture in Zambia, aiming to reduce deforestation, protect nature, and cut emissions. This investment is part of the BioCarbon Fund Initiative for Sustainable Forest Landscapes. The funds will provide training for 100,000 farmers, enhance digital technologies, and contribute to the reduction of Zambia's emissions by around 3 million tonnes.
