Telugu Desam Party accuses Andhra Pradesh government of using Pegasus spyware to tap opposition leaders' phones.

Andhra Pradesh's opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has accused the state's Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government of tapping the phones of opposition leaders, including TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan, and state BJP president D. Purandeswari. Former MLA Bonda Umamaheswara Rao claimed that the government had purchased Pegasus spyware for phone tapping and that IPS officers in the state were acting as volunteers of the YSR Congress party.
