Petersburg City Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Tamara Sterling has resigned, effective April 30. Sterling, absent for nearly a month, expressed gratitude for her time in Petersburg and confidence in the staff to continue driving the district towards success. Dr. John Farrelly, the schools Chief of Staff, will oversee operations, and plans for hiring a new superintendent will be announced.
