51-month fugitive, Denis Bégin, has pleaded guilty to escaping federal prison in Quebec. Bégin, already serving a life sentence for second-degree murder, will serve an additional 18 months in prison concurrently for his escape. Previously considered one of Quebec's most wanted criminals, court documents also implicate him as a suspect in the Old Montreal fire that killed seven people, though no formal charges have been made yet.
