Police in West Auckland are investigating an incident where a school-aged girl was grabbed by an unknown man driving a white, flat-deck truck with signwriting on 19 March. The girl escaped and ran home. Police are appealing for dashcam or CCTV footage from the area and have advised students to walk or bike to and from school with a buddy and avoid hidden tracks or areas not visible from the road.
