Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew apologizes for a 1955 birth switch at Arborg hospital.

Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew will apologize on behalf of the government to Edward Ambrose and Richard Beauvais, two men who were mistakenly switched at birth in 1955 at a hospital in Arborg, Manitoba. The apology, scheduled for Thursday in the legislature, comes after the men discovered the truth about their identities decades later through at-home ancestry tests. This is the third known case of babies being switched at birth in Manitoba.
