Kedaara Capital invests in South Indian ice cream brand Dairy Day, aiming to increase production capacity and support growth.

Kedaara Capital, a private equity firm with over $3.7bn in assets, has invested in Dairy Classic Ice Creams Private Limited (Dairy Day), a leading ice cream brand in South India. The investment aims to support Dairy Day's growth and provide a full exit for Motilal Oswal Private Equity and other angel investors. With over 50,000 retailers across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Maharashtra, Dairy Day plans to increase its daily production capacity from 2 lakh litres to 3.5 lakh litres. Kedaara Capital will work closely with Dairy Day's management team to accelerate its growth.
