Japan's factory activity shrank at a slower pace in March, while the service sector continued to expand, boosting overall private sector growth, according to a business survey. The flash au Jibun Bank Japan manufacturing PMI increased to 48.2 from 47.2 in February, while the au Jibun Bank flash services PMI rose to 54.9 in March. The composite PMI, combining both sectors, reached 52.3, the highest level since August.
