5 Inglewood schools to close by 2025 due to enrollment decline and financial difficulties.
5 Inglewood schools will be permanently closed by the end of the 2024-2025 academic year due to a decline in enrollment. The schools affected are Crozier Junior High, Hudnall TK-6 School, Highland TK-6 School, Morningside High School, and Kelso TK-6 School. Inglewood County Administrator Dr. James Morris stated that the declining enrollment and financial difficulties resulting from poor fiscal management necessitate these closures.
