The engine, which features advanced technologies and a high power-to-weight ratio, is designed for operability in extreme conditions, including high altitudes, sub-zero temperatures, and desert environments. This accomplishment marks a significant milestone in India's defense capabilities and showcases the nation's commitment to self-reliance in defense technologies. The project, initiated in August 2020, is scheduled for completion by mid-2025.
