Gila River PD officer injured in rollover crash at 63rd Avenue and Baseline Road, suspects flee, Phoenix PD locates and detains them.

A Gila River PD officer was injured in a rollover crash at the intersection of 63rd Avenue and Baseline Road in Laveen, early Thursday morning. The officer's vehicle was upside down, and the driver and passenger of the other vehicle fled the scene on foot. Phoenix PD located and detained them, suspecting alcohol impairment. The officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
