59 disabled Haitian children and 13 caregivers relocated to Jamaica due to gang violence and inadequate medical care, led by Mustard Seed Communities.
59 disabled Haitian children, along with 13 caregivers, have arrived at a port in Jamaica after a 36-hour ocean voyage. They were relocated from Haiti, where they faced gang violence and inadequate medical care. Mustard Seed Communities, a non-profit organization, led the effort to move the children to safety in Jamaica, where they will be housed at Ephesus Village. The new home is initially funded by HaitiChildren's donors for two years.
