4 children and 1 adult were injured in a fire at a six-story apartment building in Washington Heights, Manhattan. The blaze, which started on the fifth floor, was brought under control within an hour. Two young boys, aged 1 and 2, were critically injured, while two 9-year-old girls and a 29-year-old woman suffered from smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
