Minister for Housing, Infrastructure, and Resource Management Act reform discusses Build to Rent housing surge at Property Council of New Zealand Residential Development Summit. As of 31 December 2023, 1,307 Build to Rent homes were delivered, 850 under construction, and a further 3,395 in the development pipeline, with Auckland leading with 1,096 units completed, 742 under construction, and 3,350 in development. A dedicated Build to Rent tracker is launched to monitor progress.
