B.C. startup Edison Motors has developed an official road-worthy hybrid electric heavy-duty truck, the L500 semi prototype, with regenerative braking. The company, founded by Chace Barber and Eric Little, now has four orders for the truck and plans to open a new manufacturing plant in Terrace to build more. This marks the first truck built in British Columbia in over 30 years.
