BJP chief JP Nadda responded to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's claim that India has no democracy today by pointing out that India was not a democracy for a few months between 1975 and 1977 when Indira Gandhi, Rahul's grandmother, was the PM. Nadda accused the Congress party of blaming authorities for their troubles instead of correcting their own errors.
