Australia and Germany are set to sign a $1billion defense deal for Australia to export 100 Boxer armored vehicles to Germany. The vehicles will be manufactured by Australian company Rheinmetall at its Queensland facility. This deal, the largest in Australian defense export history, is expected to create over 600 jobs in Queensland while strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
