Aldi, a German supermarket chain, plans to invest £500m and open 100 new stores within London's M25 area, creating around 3,500 jobs. Priority locations include Bromley, Beckenham, Richmond, Walthamstow, Wanstead, Winchmore Hill, Notting Hill, Chelsea, Kensington, Chiswick, Highbury, Hackney, and Barnet. Aldi is offering property agents a finder's fee for recommending unknown sites, with each store requiring about 100 parking spaces and 20,000 sq ft of space.
