2-year-old China Eastern 737-800 crash remains unsolved; no crew, aircraft, or weather issues found before nosedive.

2 years after a China Eastern Boeing 737-800 crashed on a domestic flight, killing all 132 people on board, investigators have not yet determined the cause. The Civil Aviation Administration of China released an update reiterating earlier findings of no issues with the crew, aircraft, or weather conditions before the accident. Despite no pre-flight issues found, the aircraft went into a nosedive at 29,000 feet and crashed into a mountainside. A technical team will continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
