The World Economic Forum (WEF) projects that the Philippines can become a $2 trillion economy within the next decade if it continues key reforms and maintains strong economic growth. To achieve this, WEF President Børge Brende emphasized the importance of further investment in infrastructure, upskilling and right-skilling the population, and improving the ease of doing business in the country. The Philippines' current economy is valued at over $400 billion.
