UK's CAA proposes to cut Heathrow Airport's passenger charges by 6% for 2025-2026.

The UK's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) proposes to cut Heathrow Airport's passenger charges by 6% for the next two years. This follows a re-examination of CAA's decision made in March last year. If implemented, average charges per passenger could decrease by around £1.52 to £23.72 in 2025 and by £1.58 to £23.70 in 2026. The move is aimed to support passengers during periods of high inflation and airline disruptions.
