Towyn pub Sunny's Bar, which had its license suspended for hosting an underage disco and finding children drunk outside, is attempting to get its license back early. Pub owner EJP Entertainment applied for a temporary event notice to allow the pub to sell alcohol from March 27 to April 2, ending the ban before the Easter weekend. North Wales Police accuse the pub of "playing clever games" to get its license back.
