1.5 tonnes of suspected cocaine, valued at $194 million, have been seized at the Port of Halifax by Canada's Border Services Agency (CBSA). The US Homeland Security Investigations had flagged the container, originating from California and bound for Europe, leading to the discovery of 1,556 kilograms of cocaine inside. The evidence has been turned over to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for further investigation.
