Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin met an albino buffalo, Ko Muang Phet, which sold for $500,000, as part of a "soft power" push. The four-year-old, 1.4-tonne buffalo from Phetchaburi province has become a TV star, featured in the popular "Sound From The Field Of Love" soap opera. The Thai Buffalo Breeding Association has requested the government promote buffalo as a tool of "soft power."
