Stellantis Ventures invests in SteerLight, a LiDAR developer, to enhance ADAS in future Stellantis vehicles.

Stellantis N.V.'s corporate venture fund, Stellantis Ventures, has invested in SteerLight, a developer of next-generation, high-performance LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensing technology. SteerLight's LiDAR, employing silicon photonics technology, senses the surrounding environment in three dimensions with higher resolution and precision, and at a lower volume production cost than currently available LiDAR systems. This investment aims to improve the performance of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) in future Stellantis brand vehicles.
