40 shops worth millions were destroyed in a late-night fire outbreak in Kumbotso local government area of Kano State, Nigeria. The affected shops were part of a commercial shopping complex in Kano metropolis. Eyewitnesses confirmed that about 40 shops in the business premises, adjacent to Zawaciki Housing Estate, were razed down by the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
