Selangor state government plans to increase Padu registrations among citizens and civil servants for targeted subsidies.

Selangor state government plans to boost Padu (Central Database Hub) registrations by implementing strategies such as door-to-door registration by volunteers and intensifying registrations among civil servants. Padu is crucial for the government to provide targeted subsidies to residents. As of March 12, Padu has integrated 314 sets of data from various agencies, creating comprehensive profiles for 8.6 million applicants of the Cash Contribution Scheme for B40 Malaysian citizens. The government encourages registration for citizens aged 18 and above, with 6.03 million (27.4%) already registered.
