Sharon Griffin, a seasoned attorney and former Onslow County manager, has been appointed as the interim county attorney for Carteret County. With experience as an attorney-at-law and partner at Mewborn & DeSelms, Griffin will provide legal counsel and anticipate potential issues for the county. She will serve temporarily, taking over from Rob Wheatly who was dismissed last month.
