Scotland's target to reduce carbon emissions by 75% by 2030 is "beyond what is credible" to achieve, according to the Climate Change Committee (CCC). The independent climate advisory body said the Scottish Government is failing to achieve its ambitious climate goals, with emissions reduction in most sectors needing to increase by a factor of nine between now and 2030. The CCC also noted that only three of the 14 key recommendations have been implemented by the Scottish Government.
