Sarawak companies invest in Indonesia's Kalimantan region for Nusantara capital development.
Sarawak-based companies are set to invest in Indonesia's Kalimantan region, supporting the development of Nusantara, the country's new capital. Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg announced that Sarawak has established cooperation with Indonesia to assist in Nusantara's development. Sarawak Energy Bhd has already invested in a hydropower project in Malinau, North Kalimantan, supplying energy to the area, and the Indonesian government is interested in expanding hydroelectricity projects.
