Reno man Nassrollah Behmard, who fled to Mexico in 2014 to avoid prosecution, was sentenced to 12 years and 6 months in prison for conspiring with co-conspirators in Reno and Los Angeles to distribute 140+ pounds of methamphetamine in Reno between March and June 2022. Behmard's co-conspirators received sentences ranging from 5-10 years. Authorities dismantled a clandestine lab linked to the case and seized approximately 1,000 pounds of methamphetamine.
