Paramount+ introduces a $6.99/month ad-supported plan in Australia (June) and Canada (April).
Paramount+ launches an ad-supported "Basic (with ads)" subscription plan for $6.99 per month in Australia in June, and in Canada in April, as part of the company's strategy to provide customers with more choice and value. The move follows Paramount+'s launch of the premium tier in Australia, Brazil, Canada, and Mexico last year, and the premium plan will also roll out in Europe, starting with France this month.
