PAC criticizes inadequate progress and accuracy issues in RM1bn National Flood Forecasting Programme's Phase 1.
The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) criticised the government's lack of progress in its RM1 billion National Flood Forecasting and Warning Programme (PRAB). PAC chairman Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin stated that Phase One, which cost RM129 million, had accuracy issues, making the investment unjustified. The PAC wants the remaining development for PRAB phases 2 and 3 to be completed on time, within budget, and with the set quality.
