Lokpal directs CBI to probe cash-for-query allegations against TMC leader Mahua Moitra. The order came after a thorough assessment of the evidence by the Lokpal, which deemed the allegations against Moitra as extremely serious, given her position. The CBI has been instructed to complete investigations in "all aspects of the allegations" against Moitra within six months and also file periodical reports every month.
