Kansas senior guard Kevin McCullar Jr. has been ruled out of the NCAA Tournament due to a bone bruise on his knee. The All-American averaged 18.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game in the 2023-2024 season. Despite efforts to recover, McCullar and his coaches determined that his condition was not yet suitable for playing in the tournament. He will still be present with the team during the tournament.
