Greek F-16 fighter jet crashes during training flight in Aegean Sea; pilot rescued by joint military-coast guard mission. The incident occurred near the small island of Psathoura, northeast of Athens, and the pilot was later hospitalized for observation. Greece is currently upgrading its F-16 fleet as part of a military modernization program. The crash occurred hours after Greece received three U.S.-made MH-60R Seahawk navy helicopters, with plans to receive four more in 2025.
