10 recordings, including Guns N' Roses' "Appetite for Destruction," have been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, marking the band's first-ever Grammy award. The album, released in 1987, was chosen for its qualitative or historical significance, as it must be at least 25 years old to be considered. Other inductees for 2021 include Lauryn Hill's "Miseducation of Lauryn Hill," De La Soul's "3 Feet High and Rising," and Buena Vista Social Club. The inaugural Grammy Hall of Fame Gala and concert will take place May 21 in Los Angeles.
